In her recently released book, Closing the Gender Pay Gap in Medicine, Dr. Amy Gottlieb states, “While much has been written about the problem of gender pay disparities in medicine, a robust discussion about how to rectify the situation has been missing from the conversation.” This 90-minute webinar showcased several real-world examples of how schools have examined their policies and revised their practices in order to eliminate gender pay differences among faculty. It also covered potential legal ramifications related to equity in compensation.
